Grade 8 Information

The graduates will be bringing home their caps and gowns. (Students are asked to bring in their caps tomorrow and Wednesday)

As per our flyer that was sent home on 5/1 and signed and returned, here are important notes:

  1. 10:30 dismissal Tuesday and Wednesday
  2. Thursday – Students will report to the school library at regular time with their caps, tassels, and gowns.  Parents and family may go to Church for 9:00 Mass.  After Mass, weather permitting, the students will walk through the parking lot for a school “clap out.”
  3. Students will then return to the library and  to their breakfast.  The breakfast is for the graduates and faculty ONLY.
  4. Students should be picked up by 12 (students will call you if earlier)
  5. Students will return to the library by 5:30 pm (parents and families will go to Church where there will be a reserved pew with your name
  6. After graduation, students must report back to the library to collect their belongings.

Caps and Gowns

Unfortunately, we are unable to hand out the caps and gowns today as upon further inspection we realize we are missing certain components of the caps and gowns.  Because we would like all the graduates to receive the caps and gowns at the same time, we will hand them out hopefully by next Wednesday the latest.

Thank you for your understanding of this matter.

Again, have a great weekend.

Caps and Gowns

Please note that your children are bringing home their caps and gowns:

Boys: gown, cap, and tassel

Girls: gown, cap, tassel, and collar…  The collar must be sewn in.

It is advised that the gowns be steamed/pressed.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend.

Mr. K and Mrs. Canal
